Yasmine Laraqui
Yasmine Laraqui is a Casablanca-based multidisciplinary artist, writer and curator. Her practice spans painting, photography, installation, writing and curatorial projects, exploring identity, technology, surveillance, post-capitalism and social critique.
She holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her speculative novels Mental (2025) and Immersions (2026) extend the questions central to her visual practice: how consciousness, perception and autonomy evolve within systems shaped by data, media and artificial intelligence.
Through Yasmine Laraqui Studio & Residency, she develops residencies, exhibitions, public programs and curatorial collaborations across Casablanca. Palmier is the principal studio and curatorial base; accommodation and partner venues are confirmed according to each project.
